### Description

We are looking for a skilled **QA Automation Engineer (backend oriented)** to join our Parking domain. You will play an important role in ensuring the quality of mission-critical systems that serve millions of users daily.

The majority of the role is automated testing combining AI Skills but combines manual as well.

This is a great opportunity for somebody who wants to enhance infrastructures, develop in engineering, and implement great best practices while handling scaled distributed systems based on AWS.

### Responsibilities

- Design and develop automated tests end to end for new and existing features, execute mainly **Backend API tests**, including automation for backend services.
- **Apply AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) in day-to-day** work to generate code, build automation, and continuously improve testing workflows.
- Write and maintain detailed test cases and documentation.
- Identify, record, and track software defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Work with tools such as Qase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design effective testing strategies.

### Requirements

- **2 years of experience with QA life-cycle & at least 1 year of experience with software automated tests - this is an opportunity to learn and grow!**
- Expertise in API testing, including automated validation of backend services.
- Ability and resilience to work with manual tests in some areas as well (30%) and build new automation infrastructure and workflows.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, QA lifecycle, and SDLC best practices.
- Proficient in languages such as **Python, C# etc.**
- **Huge curiosity for AI and emerging technologies, with hands-on experience utilizing AI tools for development.**
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices and understanding of cloud-native environment (such as AWS\Azure\GCP), preferably serverless infrastructure and event-driven processes.
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Loves QA Automation in your career path and has high motivation to develop and succeed!

### Advantages

- Experience with Gherkin syntax and its implementation (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- UI experience.
- Personal projects using AI - Big Advantage.
